Gilgo beach

I do most of my 4x4 surfishing at gilgo. I have hear and read some disappointing new that the entry of this beach will be delayed by a few weeks. Sad new, but i went anyway (not to fish:moon:) and now i understand why.

looks like high tide comes all the way up the entrance. And I haven't seen those rocks in years.

I haven't been there in years to Gilgo. So what is the state of Gilgo these days?

dont know the beach has been closed all season. The state has no money to replenish the lost sand from the storms. Guess there waiting for mother nature to do the work?????:!::!::!:

That is definitely not good news especially to the surfers that go out there. Hopefully the beach comes back for others to fish it.
