The next KFA-NY indoor meeting will be on:
When: Wednesday March 11, 2009
Time: 7:30 – 9:30 PM
Where: Sport Fishing Education Center
Cedar Beach Marina (on Ocean Parkway)
Babylon, NY
Directions:
From the East End: Sunrise Hwy. west to Robert Moses Causeway.To Ocean Pkwy (west).The Sport Fishing Education Center will be on your right.
From the West: Meadowbrook Pkwy or Wantagh Pkwy to Ocean Pkwy(east).The Sport Fishing Education Center will be on your left. You will need to pass the center, then make a u turn and head west to access Cedar Beach Marina.
This meeting is FREE and open to the public.
The focus of this meeting will be proper gear for cold water kayaking.
Agenda is a local rep for OS drysuits will be present. A KFA member will also be speak on cold weather gear and proper fit and a rep from Hobie sunglasses will raffle off two pair of glasses, and give all members 50% off the entire line. Also, JNSKI plugs was nice enough to donate a beautiful plug, we will be giving this away to one lucky member.
