Smith Point

Caught the high tide this morning at Smith Point (ocean side). Caught a 24" striper with a mullet fly dropper (chicken scratch bomber at the point) in the wash.Surf was big and messy, water was full of weed but managed a fish anyway.

What part of Smith Point?

I was at the inlet Saturday afternoon. Lots of mullet along the jetty.

Half way between the restaurant and the ranger's station. My mullet pattern was also working in Moriches Bay on stripers and blues. I haven't seen the mullet but assumed that they were there. I guess they are.
