Golden Eagle Fishing Report 7/7/08
Myself and the girlfriend took a ride with Capt. Norm and crew abourd the Golden Eagle today for bluefish and stripers. After leaving the dock we headed North to the fishing grounds. Once on the grounds my first cast of the day produced a 20lb. striper. After that it was a steady pick of bluefish. Both myself and the woman caught several blues thru out the day. Capt. Norm stayed on the fish all day and even found some bird play in the afternoon. Everyone on the boat caught fish. I won the pool with the striper. A good day had by all. The mates worked hard all day and were there when needed to gaff fish. Anyone looking for a day of bluefish and striper fishing I highly recommed this boat. Both the Captain and crew are friendly and are willing to help out when needed. :rock:
