The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) and New York State Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation, will be holding a meeting of the 2008 Regional Open Space Advisory Committee at the State Parks Long Island headquarters in Belmont State Park, 625 Belmont Avenue, Babylon, NY 11702. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
During this meeting, the 21 member advisory committee will be drafting recommendations to be included in the 2009 New York State Open Space Conservation Plan. Members of the public are welcome to attend the meeting, but participation will be limited to advisory committee members. .
