Not much has been happening as the Macks have been mon existant, and the Stripers are still inside. Things are-a changing

Weather permitting we will be sailing Sat & Sun this weekend for Ling with our eye out on the Macks, which are rumoured to have been spotted in several locations. Small groups of small fish have been marked, so we will see what happens!

We depart at 7:30AM & Return around 3:00PM

Will be sailing for Ling, Blackfish & Mackeral Wednesday-Sunday weather permitting starting this week 3/15. A few small macks around but the water temps are in range so we are hoping to find the big schools.

The Golden Eagle is planning on sailing for Spring Macks Wednesday through the weekend. The weather is improving and water temps are pretty good.
We found some Macks south & east of the inlet within about 18-22 miles. Not bad.
We are also carrying bait for Ling & Blackfish should the Macks play hide & seek to much or hard to get.
Weekdays are great days to go as the boat is not crowded.

Come on out Mack fans, it wont last long.
