(TRENTON)-On Wednesday, April 9, the New Jersey Clean Air Council will hold its annual public hearing to discuss ways to reduce air emissions at New Jersey's seaports and airports.
Department of Environmental Protection Commissioner Lisa P. Jackson will open the hearing.
The Clean Air Council is comprised of representatives from public, private and non-profit groups who serve in an advisory capacity to the DEP regarding air matters.

Directions to DEP from Northern New Jersey:
* Take the New Jersey Turnpike to exit 9 (New Brunswick) to Route 1 South.
* Follow Route 1 South to Trenton.
* Take the exit for Perry Street.
* At the top of the ramp make a right onto Perry Street, go over Route 1.
* Make a right onto Carroll Street.
* Follow that road to the end.
* Make a right onto East State Street. The DEP headquarters will be on your left.
Directions to DEP from Southern New Jersey:
* Take 295 North to exit 60 -Trenton, Route 129.
* Stay in the left lane and follow Route 129 towards Trenton. It will turn into Route 1 after the Hamilton Avenue exit.
* Take the exit for Perry Street.
* At the top of the ramp, bear right onto Carroll Street.
* Follow that road to the end.
* Make a right onto East State Street. The DEP headquarters will be on your left.
