How many weeks do you blackfish for in the spring? Then what do you fish for?

I will fish for blackfish (2 weeks)until they stop feeding to spawn some times its sooner.Then I target fluke by the last week of april.

Actually, I knew that, but the name slipped my mind temporarily. A friend of mine swears by it, but the last time we went togging with it, el zippo!!!
However, the pool winner on that day was using it.
Its getting harder to find, no?

I was hoping the magic bait was something like cheddar-cheese popcorn or such, like the tourists feed the catfish at the docks on lake mead near Las Vegas. They literally jump out of the water for it. Crazy, huh? :p

If you ask Joe nicely, promise not to puke in his boots and confess that you are not good with soft baits, you may get him to bring conch which I think is the next magic bait in Spring when I am working on my timing.

Jay ,you are correct, conch is also very good bait and I will have some on board on my spring flings for tog.But nothing beats the CRUNCH CRUNCH of fishing a crab bait.:}:},,,joe
