FISHING BUS CHARTER TO NORTH CAROLINA 4/11/08
We will board the bus on Friday morning and travel to North Carolina. Cruising southbound* stopping at regular intervals* we will reach the dock and board the Carolina Princess at midnight. A short 3 ½ to 4 ½ hour ride to the first drop - fish all day - and back at the dock 6 PM Saturday. The bus will bring us to the hotel (about 5 miles* across a bridge) around 7:30 PM. Enjoy the showers and soft beds at AmeriSuites overnight. Sunday morning* 5-6 AM* we have a private breakfast buffet. Sunday at 6:30 AM we board the bus for the journey northbound* which will put you back at your pick up spot Sunday evening.

MOTOR COACH: Deluxe 52 passenger motor coach features lavatories* reclining seats* VCR & DVD player* stereo CD* & PA system. The selection of movies will include: Jaws* Perfect Storm* & Finding Nemo. Bring your favorite movie.
PLEASE pack your valuable rods in cases* as they must be stowed below in the luggage bays due to insurance regulations.
VESSEL: Carolina Princess is a 95’ aluminum vessel with a full galley and cook. Our trip will have a crew of 2 captains and 4 mates. All fishing gear* tackle* and bait are provided! There is a “no outside alcohol” policy* but beer is available in the galley. There is seating in the cabin and benches on the top deck* but no bunks. The catch is kept on ice for the duration of the trip* so LARGE coolers can stay on the bus* and not take up fishing space on the deck. And* NO BANANAS…they are considered bad luck on fishing boats.
HOTEL: Overnight accommodations at AmeriSuites in Moorhead City* an all suite hotel with large rooms* are double occupancy. We will pair you up if you’re fishing solo* don’t worry. Private suites are available* just let us know in advance and we’ll make the arrangements. A FULL buffet breakfast exclusively for our charter. Not just coffee* juice* & danish* FULL buffet; eggs* waffles* sausages* etc.!
FISHING: Bottom fishing in the Gulf Stream. We will probably stop at several places and the depth could vary each time from 95 feet to 140 feet* if bringing your own gear* choose your tackle outfit accordingly(Carolina Princess recommends 4/0 Senator reels* 80lb test* or similar). The usual catch is Vermillion Snapper* Red Snapper* Black Sea Bass* Grouper* Trigger Fish* Scup* Red Mouth Grunts* and the occasional Dolphin* Wahoo* and King Mackerel to name a few. Yes* braided line is allowed. Fish cleaning is available dockside; they charge $.50/ lb.* cleaned & bagged. Ice is also available on site.
FISH POOLS: We will have three separate pools each worth over $175.00 in cash & prizes. Largest Grouper* largest bottom fish* and Mixed bag (most different species). Entry to all 3 pools is included in your fare. Should you be fortunate enough to win all 3* your next Fish NYC fishing bus trip is FREE! If we have enough interested parties* an additional cash pool(s) will be organized on the bus ride down.
REGULATIONS: At the time of this writing* North Carolina has not published the 2008 regulations. Enclosed you will find a copy of the 2007 minimum lengths and creel limits. We will update you as new information becomes available.
FISH FOR FREE: You will automatically be entered in the Fish NYC Fishing bus Charter “repeat offender” club. You will receive priority reservation opportunities on all upcoming trips* club member private tackle sales* and a repeat offender club card. Your card will be punched for every bus charter you complete* when your card has 6 punches* your next Fish NYC fishing bus charter is FREE!
RESPONSIBILITIES: the only costs you will be responsible for during the charter are meals (except Sunday morning’s buffet breakfast)* and gratuities. Bus driver* boat crew members* and hotel staff are on the list to be remembered.
NO PIRATES! I have put together a way for anglers to travel and fish in a friendly* accommodating atmosphere* beneficial in promoting camaraderie and long term friendships between serious anglers that have similar interests. There is no place on any of my charters for pirates* ever. Poaching* mugging* stealing and abusive* rude behavior is not welcome and will not be tolerated. It is a LONG swim back home.
FINE PRINT: All effort has been made to provide you with a safe* successful charter; however* all outdoor activities have certain implied risks. All anglers are traveling at their own risk and agree not to hold Fish NYC responsible for any mishaps whatsoever. All travelers are required to comply with local authorities and adhere to all policies and procedures in every aspect of the trip. Only mechanical issues or hazardous weather will cause this trip to be re-scheduled* and you will be notified. If you must cancel your reservation* at ANY time* you may re-schedule for another charter. There will be no fee for re-scheduling* ever. There are no refunds at this time* but you may use the ticket’s value towards your next charter or to purchase any item(s) at all from our on-line store.
