Are there any advantages to joining LIBBA (other than the plate that they give you)?

I have been approached to join several times by there members. Every time i turned them down. I like to stick to my small group of buddies... If i ever get stuck there better then AAA...

yup* if you belong to that club. As i have said before I was stuck real bad one time and sorry to say a few of those libba fellas just drove by and didnt even look. Activities wise I've heard they have bbq* seminars* meetings once a month* and I think they go out and clean up a few beaches too... I dont know if there any Member ship fess...... but there probably are....

Thanks* Alberto. FYI - the initial membership fee is $35. After that* it is $25 per year. I think I may join for a year just to test it. I'll let you know how it works out. Either way* the surf season is only a couple of months away now.
