Proline you are correct* there are not too many bargains at the show* have to know your prices and can find some. But it's a great show something for everyone.
I live about 3 miles away from the show. For me it's the only time to stock up on saltwater tackle without driving to Long Island or Jersey or paying shipping on the internet. Up here freshwater is more popular. Tried it but the salt water is my passion. Hence the name "Gimmesalt"

Had a great time at the show on Saturday - stopped by to thank Rich for the ticket and bought myself a nifty "Fishing Line" t-shirt. Rich was on his way to give the Fluke Seminar ( I already have his FLuke /Snapper video so I did not attend ). Saw Capt Chris from the Isl Current too.
As for bargains * you are right there are not any real bargains at the show but the prices are goood overall. I did pick up a bunch of 1-3 oz bucktails from $1- 1.50 each * some nice fluke teasers for 1.50 each and some real nice open eyed bucktail hooks for replacements for around $2 each. I chekced out a sweet Lamiglass rod at the vendors booth and saw some new jigs from a company called Vision Tackle I thought were real nice* and lastly a 2008 schedule I had been wanting for a party boat up on the Cape . I got out of there around 12;30 and boy was it getting packed !
