I would like to introduce myself and Mariners School to the Fishing Line and its members... Captain Bob Figular and I am the Founder and President of Mariners School.
Mariners School has joined an alliance and "partnered" with Rich Johnson and the fishing line. Our intention in forming this "partnership" is to provide accurate and up to date information on the Captain's Licensing process.
Mariners School is a Coast Guard approved training facility headquartered in Princeton* NJ; with an additional 26 training facilities located across the country; offers OUPV/Six-Pack (Captain’s) License courses; 100 Ton Masters Upgrade courses; Towing and Sailing Endorsement courses.
Mariners School is also the first privately owned school in the country to be approved by the Coast Guard to also offer their Captain’s licensing courses online. This approval now gives the student the choices of attending a three weekend classroom course led by an USCG Licensed Master or take the course at their own pace in the piece and comfort of their home or office. This approval represents a major breakthrough in the Captain’s licensing process…
