Still waiting on the possible tixs giveaway for the Javitz show. How about bringing some freebee tixs to the get-together to motivate more people to show up. Great wings and other goodies seem to not be enough.
Then again* maybe we'll do just fine without people who are just looking for a handout. It may be the same people that stiffed the mates on your first free trip that will stiff the waitresses.

2008 NY Boat Show Seminar Speakers Bio’s for Program Guide
Mike Colameco: Mike is the acclaimed radio show host of “Food talk” on WOR710AM and Colameco's Food Show on Public Television 13WNET. Mike divides his time between his home with his family in south Jersey and the West Village of NY and his passion for fishing and boating is no secret to fans of his shows. While working as a cook & chef in New York City for over a decade* each summer's vacation through the 80's and early 90's were organized around touring France* Italy* Switzerland and England dining at most of the Michelin 3 star* many 2 star and countless wonderful local restaurants featuring regional cuisines. These dining experiences & 20 odd years spent in restaurant kitchens* have helped develop a very well trained palate. Mike will be cooking fish recipes in person at the NY Boat Show Wednesday-Friday at 5 p.m. sharp and spending time in The Fishing Line booth for you to personally speak with him about fishing* recipes and of course his shows. Rich Johnson: Rich is a sponsor and producer of the NY National Boat Show and their Seminar Series and that of other outdoor expos as well and a featured speaker at regional events. Skip Lerman: Skip is one of the nicest and down to earth fishermen you’ll come across anywhere. Skip has competitively fished the touring bass circuit for over 28 years* with five (5) Eastern Bass Championships* four time winner of NJ Bass Federation tournaments and two (2) ABA Angler of the Year Titles* three time overall Eastern Bass champion and many top three finishes. Skip is a featured lecturer in the freshwater realm of bass fishing and has also made several appearances on television with a variety of hosts and presented a number of seminars on a variety of fishing topics. Pat Marshall: Pat has been fishing since he was a small child in Minnesota. His passion sets him on paths to fish for anything that swims but he caught the muskie bug early in life having grown up in MN. Have fished competitively for the last 15 years for bass* walleye and Muskies* he really has spent the last 15 years obsessed with the muskie fishing and travels all over North America fishing for them. As the current president of Muskies Inc. Chapter#22 in New Jersey* Pat enjoys teaching new people the very challenging and rewarding sport of Muskie fishing…the fish of 10*000 casts.

I met some really nice folks at the Boat Show while working with Rich at the Fishing Line Booth and I hope that some of you that attended the show caught some of the seminars!
I had the pleasure of meeting* talking with and working the booth with Capt Chris from the Island Current* Capt Amanda Cash of the Osprey III* and Capt Bob Wiegand of the Flamingo III* and Capt Al Ristori and Skip Lerman.
What a professional* energetic and great group of Capt's to share some fishing info with* it truly was a pleasure.
Also a pleasure to meet mike Colameco* he made some scallops* and skate wings as well. If you did not make the show and the seminars that RJ put together...you missed out.
Hopefully I can catch some of you at another function or perhaps on board the GE.
