They sail their last trips of the year on Sunday at 7 a.m. and again at noon then of course 6 p.m.....

I plan on hitting the 7 a.m. trip and depending on how I do maybe sticking around for the noon time sail as well.

Who else wants to go (not a free trip) with me?? I'll TRY to get it set up so rods are in prime locale and all together...

RJ* I'd like to get out; I was thinking of going before Sunday but if a group is getting together* I'm in. One or both trips.

Jigs* 5 oz spoons? What should I bring? Also* I have the boat rods* what about a spinning set up this time of year?

No keepers but a great Day. RJ put me onto this boat some time back* it is one of my first choices; they work hard to put you on fish. Tom* the mate and his young apprentice were on top of things all day.

All in all a nice day. I'm two plus hours away* so I try to make my trips count. Today was a lot of fun. I look forward to fishing with our fearless leader* RJ* and the rest of you guys again.

Well gang* Im sorry the day didnt produce both more fish and more keepers... We did a little better in the afternoon as we had found more birds further west. I want to personally thank all of you from this board for coming out on our last Sunday out for the season and I hope to see all of you again..

Happy Holdiays in the meantime

Tom

The Peconic Star in Greenport; Osprey and Celtic Quest in Port Jeff; and James Joseph Island Current on the north shore and the the Ocean Eagle; Capt. Al on the south shore

RJ do you have an opinion on which side of the Island is more productive for blackfishing at this time of the year....the North shore or the South shore????

RJ

Get to the North Shore NOW...that may be ending soonas thsat is much mroe unpredictable than the south shore. Those fish in the Sound one year shut down at 52 degrees and the next at 45 degrees...
