Sorry* I didn't know that there were no repeat trips. I would have preferred this trip* but I understand.
OK - here is the revised list. I'll keep monitoring* as I am very interested in fishing for bass with artificials.

Rich
Is there any plan to reschedule worming trip #4?
If not can a person who was on that trip sign up for trip #5 or #6?
Where do the boats sail out of?
Is the jigging trip a day or night trip? I would assume the black fish trip is a day trip.
Thanks for your help.:D
Trips are daytime
No..the worming trip will not be run this season
If you were on the Cancelled Worming trip YES you can sign up for another trips...
however..I better start seeing some people sign up for our get together or there will be no trips I will pull the plug on these...and all of them

I am putting myself on the waiting list since I already went on the IC trip. Capt Bob always puts forth a great effort to find fish. I am sure this trip will be no different.

Sorry for your loss my father inlaw passed away at 66 from an aortic anurysm a few years ago just before Thanksgiving and 10 days before his granddaughter was born. It was very sudden and very difficult.

Rich* Should we look forward to some great striper fishing in the spring?
Steven
To tell the truth; I am very disillusioned by the whole thing....
I gave people three weeks notice for the get together* took into account the holiday and scheduled it on the 2nd night of the Jewish holiday and sent out reminder e mails to EVERYONE WHO SAILED A FREE TRIP.
While I knew there were going to be some free loaders on board; particularly the old timers who couldn't copy and paste and who had their wives or whoever do it for them...and I could have named those people for you a month ago...:)
AND while I had a great time at the get together with the 25 generous folks that attended....I was severely disappointed at the non turnout of the free trip receivers....I took 58 people fishing and I think I counted six.. Marco Island; Sam Borges; Jay43B; Alberto; Angus63; and a few others whose names I can't place with the face right now but I know who you are and thanks for coming!!::rock:
Here is Sam who drove in some snow with his wife 4 freaking hours from Delaware and the people that live within 10 miles of the place didn't show...
This really makes me wonder if I should or will continue to spend the thousands for these free trips....if the majority of the people won't leave their house at night?
This is why there WILL be a minimum post requirement for All future trips and giveaway items...this is one reason anyone in attendance the other night receives Free NY Boat Show tix before any other envelope comes in or goes out of the office

RJ...your heart is in the right place. Please don't let a few self-centered people spoil it for the rest of us. You have every right to refresh your selection criteria and I urge you to do so. Hopefully we will build a community of committed fishermen and women who share a common goal. All good things grow. Those on the outside will always wonder why we are having such a great time. I personally don't mind paying my fair share and I will make two recommendations:
1. Develop a criterion for getting a free trip asap.
2. Make the same trip available* at cost* to others who have either participated before* did not make your initial cut or simply want to continue to hang out with those who share his passion.

Na...this is something I'll keep to myself...I will speak onthe great time we did have though!

RJ* A free trip will get you a certain kind of person. Hell* some of them stiffed the mates* right? You did a good thing and it looks like you found a few good guys with a sense of loyalty* so there is some payoff. TFL has been good to me and you have put me onto some good boats. I'll meet up with you on a paid trip anytime; Looking forward to seeing you all in the spring. Happy Holidays. Mick :)

Hey Rich
Sorry I couldn't make it. I work midnights (start at 11:00pm) and had to be in 3 hrs early. Also want to post more fishing reports but with the hours I work* divorced with custody of two young children I've only got out to the beaches a few times this spring. Not even sure if I can make the trip I signed up for unless I can get out of work early. Truly do appreciate your offer of these trips.
These boards are NOT only about posting reports...there is a ton of stuff anyone can contribute to

Hey Kaos1012....Here is a suggestion. You are a very unique person as a single male parent raising two children. What a heck of an admirable thing to do in today's environment!!!. I bet you that you have tons of experiences doing this that the rest of us can only imagine. My suggestion is to post some of those under the OFF TOPIC forum. In no time you will have posted enough times to make RJ's cuts and could even become a Schoolie. Some of us who are more experienced parents with empty nests can also help who with some challenges in raising young children.
