Hey guys* I have noticed that the mates on some tog boats use what I am told are asian crabs. Does any one know where i might buy them.. I've asked the local bait shops in Brooklyn and they say they dont carry them.

Walk the beach at the outgoing tide and turn over the rocks that were under water. If you want to drive East I can tell you where I find them

From Queens you will have to go East on Northern State to Deer Park North. Stay left* it becomes Park Avenue. Take that North to 25A East( go right). If you see Huntington Hospital* you missed your right turn at the Millineum Service Station.
Stay on 25A East until you see the sign for Veterans Hospital. Less than a mile past that sign you will turn left onto Makamah Beach Road. Go to the end and you wil see a small parking lot on your left.

Bring your surf rod and try for blackfish before the tide is out. Kick over the rocks and collect your Asian crabs.

Important!! these crabs are small and fast* you have to be quick at grabing them. when i use them i put two or three on the hook.
Good Luck

My question: How do you keep them for longer than a week if you don't have a boat?
