Well the cool fall air and dropping temperatures are now upon us. Even though it is still unseasonably warm our blackfish trips are in full swing. On average* pool fish is going from 5 to 8 pounds daily. Our $10 blackfish derby is still in effect. This is a one time entry fee* winner takes all at the end our our blackfish season. This will go through the month of January 2008.
First* ISLAND CURRENT FLEET would like to introduce our online ticketing company ZERVE. We are now sailing everyday at 8 AM for our local blackfish trips. These trips return at about 4:30 PM. The cost for these trips are $55 for adults* $50 seniors* and $35 for children. Both daytime & nighttime are the same price. All bait* tackle* rods* reels* and parking are included FREE. There is no additional cost for lost rigs.
As always* the ISLAND CURRENT FLEET offers private charters for both day and nighttime fishing. We have special weekday rates for groups looking to charter the boat out privately or offer special group discounts. Both the ISLAND CURRENT (up to 21) and the ISLAND CURRENT II (up to 49) can accommodate groups of all sizes. We continue to supply the absolute best quality custom tackle* Penn Jigmaster reels matched with premium Ande line* and custom tied tackle.
We have dates available for upcoming blackfish trips which include the local blackfishing in LI Sound* Nov. 50/50 dates every Mon. & Wed. aboard the ISLAND CURRENT* and our East End Specialty trips sailing at 4 AM on Fridays 11/16* 11/23* & 11/30* plus our OCEAN MONSTER blackfish trips that sail everyday 5 AM through the winter.
