I care. I'm new to the game, but I fish a lot of small water up on Cape Cod. Most of the fishing I do up there is off the surf or a jetty. I've spoken to a few people who have gotten towed by large fish. I want in on that action. Even if it's just to cover water for fluke fishing in a back bay, I want to learn more about this type of fishing. Is there anyone who has any insight on where I can begin. I already have a yak. It's got a large cockpit (not a sit-on-top), but I have room for tackle and a couple of tackle boxes (flat ones). I don't have room for a bucket or cooler, but I could probably use a stringer if I had to. Please. Anyone. Let me know what kind of fishing you do from a kayak. By the way, that picture is hilarious!

I* too* am interested in kayak fishing. I am purchasing a kayak next month* most likely* and breaking it out on LNB sometime in April for some early stripers. Some of the posts on here are very useful in decideing which kayak to buy* which I will be doing soon.

I did some fishing from a kayak last year* but it was in a lake. I enjoyed it after a while* but at first it took a little getting used to. Had a great time doing this with my family. We caught perch* blue gills* and some nice bass. I would do it again in a lake* not to sure about in the bay or ocean like some people do. Not a good swimmer.
