It’s heaven for hunters at the Toyota 30th World Fishing & Outdoor Exposition, March 1-4, 2007, at the Rockland Community College Field House in Suffern, NY. Here’s where you’ll find that perfect bow, learn how to bag the biggest buck, and see top hunting dogs, all under one roof.

Archery buffs will find the Expo right on target, with everything they need for that perfect bow hunting season. Top retailers will offer tree stands, bows, arrows, and complete lines of archery gear. To keep your skills sharp, try our hunting simulator and test your eye and arm against a range of game scenarios.

Joining the Expo for the first time is legendary hunter and turkey calling champion, Matt Morrett. Morrett is on the professional staff at Hunter’s Specialties, and travels the nation conducting seminars on turkey and deer hunting. His techniques have been profiled on both ESPN and TNN, as well as in numerous magazine articles. He is a five-time winner of the World Champion Friction Turkey Calling title, five time U.S. Open Turkey Calling Champion, and a Grand National Champion. In the field, Morrett has completed a grand slam of all four subspecies of wild turkey.

During the fall deer season, Morrett focuses on hunting mature whitetail bucks. He is a master at using techniques such as scent elimination, lures, whitetail vocalization and antler rattling, and consistently scores hard-to-hunt bucks. Joining Morrett to offer hunting tips will be Peter Fiduccia, the “deer doctor,” and black-powder expert Dave Ehrig.

No deer hunter will want to miss “Big Jake,” a whitetail deer head sporting the heaviest set of antlers known to man. Big Jake appears exclusively at the Expo, and features a non- typical score of 344. With 30 points and a 9” & 10” mass, he’s truly a World Heavyweight Champ.

The Expo is also the place to see top trainers demonstrate their techniques with many of the areas best retrievers. These daily seminars will offer tips on training your dog, and are sure to improve your next trip afield with your dog.
