Coast Guard Auxiliary invites the public to stop by, say "Hi," get to know us, and ask us your boating safety questions

Although it officially winter, auditoriums all across the country will soon be filling up with all kinds of boats, fishing and sportsmen gear as the annual Boat & Sports Show season gets underway.

As always, it’s a pretty sure bet the Coast Guard Auxiliary will be there to meet and greet the public. This presents a great opportunity for boating and fishing enthusiasts to stop by and learn about any changes or additions to their local and state municipal boating laws. While there, you can pick-up on new equipment requirements and opportunities, and ask about new rues and regulations,as well as any new equipment you now have. You’ll also have the opportunity to pick up your own copies of the Federal boating regulations and other publications to help increase your knowledge of boating safety.

Moreover, these venues allow the public to find out more about the Coast Guard Auxiliary - America's Volunteer Lifesavers. The Auxiliary offers many opportunities for volunteers to make a difference for their community and their country, while at the same time, learning new skills, and having fun!
