Pt. Lookout Jetties

Has anyone been down to the jetties to see what shape they are in this year?

Welcome striperholic...I have not been there in this weather lately, although the jetties behind my house in AB are in great shape and things really do not change much as far as jetties are concerned.

The main change season to season is the sand structure in front of or on each side of the jetties. I hope to have Ron Masters from PL Conservation & Waterways on the radio show in the coming weeks to speak about the jetty renovation projects to start this spring.:D

Thanks for the welcome RJ. I know that the changes to the jetties are generally limited to the sand structure up front and to the sides. However, this shifting sand can and does cause rocks to shift from time to time. The second jetty east of the Pt. Lookout parking lot is a good example of what could happen due to shifting sand.:)
