Today we cancelled our EAST END WRECK trip as a result of the poor weather conditions. We decided to run our local fishing trips. Both boats made it out with very light crowds on each. The ISLAND CURRENT I, fished for blues and striped bass with lock and load activity from start to finish. Excellent bait fishing, hitting the mid-sound areas.
The bottom fishing was decent despite the tough anchoring conditions as a result of the wind against the tide. High hook today was 15 keeper porgies. A few keeper blacks were also boated.
