The NYSDEC Waterfowl Identication Class will be held at the Auburn Bass Pro Shops seminar room on Wednesday October 18 from 6:30-9:30 PM.
Though not mandatory to hunt waterfowl in New York. It is required to waterfowl hunt at several specific sites in central and western New York. These include the Montezuma and Iroquois National Wildlife Refuges, Tonawanda/Oak Orchard Wildlife Management Areas and the Niagara River state park system.
The class will consist of waterfowl identication techiques, waterfowl hunting season and regulation requirements. A short 25 question test will be administered in order to receive the class completion certificate.
In order to supply enough materials for all class attendees. Pre-Registration is a STRONGLY SUGGESTED.

There is no minimum age requirement for this class.
