Anybody hunt up there? I stopped at my club this week on my way back from Watertown to check on the rain damage. House is fine but the blacktop road is actually gone. Nothing in the valley where the road was except a stream. Fortunately the road cuts into the main route at two points so I can still get to the house. Home across the road is condemned, half hanging over the stream. If you have a place in the back, check it out. You may have a silted in well or no driveway...or even no road access.

This area got HAMMERED a couple of weeks back. It's the third years in a row. I live an hour south of the Manor just off 17. We are being over run by deer! Two days ago I nearly hit a 150lb (my quick estimate) black bear on a well travelled road.

Lots of hunters in the area. I do not hunt presently. You would be welcome to come and blast a couple of the deer that are decimating my shrubs, though! :p

I'll keep that in mind, thanks for the offer. We had three bears running around our property but, I think they can read a calendar and disappear when they are open.
