Nantucket Lightship Scallop Access Area Closed

NOAA Fisheries Service announces that effective 0001 hours, July 13, 2006, the Nantucket Lightship Scallop Access Area will be closed to general category scallop vessels for the remainder of the 2006 scallop fishing year. Scallop vessels may not declare or initiate a general category scallop trip to the Nantucket Lightship Scallop Access Area after 0001 hours, July 13, 2006.
