I did a half day Fluke trip this afternoon, May 31st, and managed 4 keepers all in the 20" to 24" range. Fishing was tough with strong current that required up to 8 ozs of lead at times. I used varying technigues including the highlight from Saturday's TFL show, a 6oz chrome ball with a squid skirt attached to a 3' leader and bucktail teaser on a dropper loop. I managed 2 keepers using this technique, 1 on a fish finder with a 3" storm shad and 1 on a typical 3 way both of these required 8 ozs to hold bottom. We fished most of the day at the tip of Sandy Hook.
