Lindy you in?? Anyone else?? Let's see who we can get for this.

I am planning other trips on other boats when the fall gets here and may want to do a party boat trip once or twice a month on Fridays...day or night.

This thread though is for a night bass trip amd can we do this on a weekenday night?

i'm in too (unless there are others interested who haven't had a trip yet. i don't want to be a hog). i'm pretty flexible with the date.

RJ
09-28-2004, 10:59 AM
We could probably find a good date on a Monday through Wednesday...is this alright

GradyWhite
09-28-2004, 11:03 AM
fine with me. if there is a problem, i would know with moer than a week's notice. if we have a deliberating jury or are in the middle of sensetive testimony, i can't bail early. those late days are far and few between

Bring your wet weather gear and get ready for a lot of fun. Basssman took a small bath twenty minutes into fishing. Bet you didn't think I saw that. :D

basssman
09-28-2004, 11:32 PM
Yup - basssman got soaked allright, but you must have seen Grady get soaked too, enough to fill his boots with water!!!
Who cares, I'll take a soaking every time if it means catching Big Fish!!!
I need to know the date of the trip before committing..

GradyWhite
09-29-2004, 10:01 AM
i guess it didn't make sense for me to wear my boots without the big rubber pants too. i felt like i had jungle rot all night. i learned my lesson. and besides, it is highly unlikely that the next trip will have such mild nighttime temps.

I'm in. At the moment it appears my weekends will actually be mine this fall. Gotta enjoy 'em while I can!

Big Keepers
09-30-2004, 12:30 AM
I forgot that Grady took off one boot and dumped half a gallon of sea water on the floor. Too me that is the best part of fishing. It's like hiding under an umbrella when your a kid and sitting next to the sprinkler.

RJ
09-30-2004, 09:25 AM
Captain is getting me a date this evening.

RJ
09-30-2004, 08:22 PM
We are sailing with Phil Kess again Columbus Day evening, October 11 at 6 p.m. The list starts now and first come first serve. The cost is the same at $110 plus tip.

I might consider sitting it out if there are more than five other people who really want to go since I will be doing plenty of fishing this fall.

Jaiem

Capt. Phil wants to know if we can make it by 5 p.m.!!

This way we get a little light and more importanlty we get the "pink" bite at sundown since it is getting dark earlier...and we get home earlier as well!!!!:D

I think we should take his advice and do it! Lance & I have no problem with my schedule doing this...what about you guys...

RJ
10-06-2004, 07:49 AM
Yes it does....I will post directions later today or tonight and tell the capt. it's a 5 p.m. sailing time. Cool

Big Keepers
10-07-2004, 07:50 PM
Directions are simple, just get on Route 25 and drive east until you are about to hit the Atlantic Ocean. Then turn right.

RJ
10-08-2004, 05:25 PM
The spot I had saved for Lance...is now UP for grabs...I have not heard from my British friend as I was supposed to so if zimno1's friend wants it again it is his or anyone else's

RJ
10-09-2004, 03:46 PM

I thought it was sound Ave all the way???????

Jaiem
10-10-2004, 05:49 PM
Take 25 or sound ave or whatever you want all the way east to the Orient Ferry. About 100 feet before the ferry on your right will be Orient By The Sea marina. Pull in there, stay to the right. The boat is on the right side of the canal about half way up. Look for the sign on the dock. Park near the boat but not in the spots marked for the resturant only.

Jaiem
10-10-2004, 05:53 PM
If in doubt, I vote to table the trip. The fishing will only get better later on with a better chance at bigger fish.

On the last trip, even though the wind was mild and the weather altogether good the rips were still very choppy. It will be worse with a wind.

What is the date of the fall-back trip? I hope it's not a "school day".

LkyLindy
10-10-2004, 07:30 PM
