Hi all, I am new here as you all have heard before and look forward to talking to as many of you as possible!! My first question is about muskie fishing in upstate NY, Ive been bass fishing alot and love it but want to go a little bigger!! What size/ wieght pole, reel, and line should I get? I know I need steel leads and heavy line but am looking for all input I can get!! Also what kind of bait, lures do they like?? Thanx to all for looking!

I've never been musky fishing but from what I understand much of the gear is the same for stripers.A MH-H baitcaster in the 20-30lb class, big plugs and bucktails and spinnerbaits.
